We stand by the modern evidence-based view on autism, which implies that we can overcome the barriers to the socialization of people with autism.

The quality of life of families raising kids with autism depends directly on the quality of professional assistance.
Our goal is to build a modern nation-wide system to help people diagnosed with autism in Russia.
The stretch goal is a breakthrough transformation of the whole situation for the parents of children with ASD.

They should have a clear roadmap, based on the modern system of professional help coupled with the full support of the government and society.

What we do
Our projects
In 2013 students with various forms of autism including non verbal children entered general school No.1465 in Moscow.

Since then, we have been observing the academic success and socialization of children with ASD. This model allows to expand the boundaries of school without any disruption of general educational process.

This model is the most demanded by the parent community, as it really improves the accessibility of education for children with ASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

The benefits of inclusion both for autistic and neurotypical kids are proven by international research, and by our practice as well.
Inclusion model with the
"resource zone" technology,
which was launched in Russia
for the first time.
Inclusion 1465
Inclusive Observer
The service of organizational
and behavioral support provided
to inclusive schools.

Based on the project "Inclusion 1465" we have developed the program "Include me!", which helps to implement inclusion.

Any school can enter this program. Inclusive Observer – is the supervision service, allowing to handle any difficulties arising on the way to inclusive education.
S O V A (Owl)
The project of introducing peer-mediated intervention into inclusive educational strategy.
(Russian abbreviation for
"
Peer-Mediated Intervention for Autism")
It's a unique educational practice when neurotypical children act as "companions" or "mentors" for their classmates with autism. Such interaction is useful for both parties. Children with ASD are building their social skills when they are learning with peers, and the neurotypical peers are mastering complicated processes, for instance, the skill to set tasks.

Both parties from the early ages are learning to interact with the different people, they are learning to understand this difference and are not afraid to communicate with one another.
AUT-letics
The program of developing all kinds of physical education approaches to the treatment of autism: physical rehabilitation, adaptive physical culture, exercise, yoga, sports, dance, sensory integration, kinesiotherapy, targeted physical activity.
The program hosts the project "Motley Belt", which is a comprehensive program for the development of adaptive taekwondo in Russia for children with autism.
The Same Different
A model of prevocational training and guidance for adolescents with ASD.
It is the elaboration of the project "Inclusion 1465". Today many people with autism have no profession or job prospects.

We want to show that they can not only master profession but also be relevant jobseekers in the labor market.

Self-actualization is the most important
element of the independent life of an adult. The independence of a person with autism – that's what we strive for.
We analyze the existing regulatory framework, which ensures the implementation of the school inclusion model for children with ASD and neuro developmental disorders and regulates the development of inclusive education in our country, and we bring it in line with the successful and effective evidence-based practice of inclusion.
Within this vector, Autism Challenge Center cooperates with governmental structures in the field of education to facilitate the introduction of inclusive practices into Russian educational system.
Inclusion
in compliance
with law
We are building the balance between the research of autism, medical practice, and education.

The international exchange of practices and training of Russian specialists is of great importance for us.
Educational program for doctors and medical professionals in Russia with the specialization in autism spectrum disorders.
The formal diagnosis of ASD is issued by psychiatrists but people with autism have many comorbidities: gastrointestinal, neurological (e.g., epilepsy), mitochondrial, immunological, mental disorders, allergies etc.

The problemis that they are often unnoticed because of autism. That's why the doctors of various specializations should understand autism and its symptoms.
